Germanium comps

I have mine run off a 50x2 amp right now...but soon enough they will be bi amped with 60 watts rms PER speaker. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
How do you like them on 50x2 slick? I ran mine on 50x4 for a while -- They sounded great but didn't get quite loud enough to surpass the sub in my car. I found bridging it down to 2x120 to help alot in the volume of midbass. Next step - 2x200/2x250w and fully deadened doors. or 4x150 with the tweets turned down alot so i can finally run active...

Though the passive x-overs are awesome; i haven't really felt like changing yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I like them. coming from CDT's on the same amp these do not get as loud but I am still "breaking" them in. I deadened my doors while installing these so it is it tough to measure them against my prior frontstage. however, I have the hpf at times at 50hz for fun and they sound great...someone thought I had a 10" sub on the outside of my car. I play them with the HPF at 80 with my 15" avalanche sealed and they can stay up with the sub, but the sub still overpowers many songs with nice bass lines. the tweeter is my favorite aspect...never have I heard a tweeter play so "low". it might be in my head but I really enjoy the sound and it all blends together nicely. I cannot tell what speaker is playing which frequency which is a good thing. did you tune the xovers at all? I have not touched them yet. I might bridge my new amp I am gettin shortly to give them around 90-100x4@4ohms.

i wouldnt dare .. i only use pyle for my home audio .. lol

hmmm. My clarion apa450 can do 100x2 bridged. If I keep it and run the SLC's off it. I could put the money im saving into the subs...

or I could just get the Germs. Get a 200x2 amp for them and be poor for awhile

Choices choices.

And I only use pyle for bathroom audio.
