Genesis / Divinci home audio.

Is sony any good? Some of their amps are horseshit, but I am using sony mains right now as my computer speakers, and they sound great. Be specific.

Somehow if you're mentioning "DiVinci", I don't think you're talking about the British Genesis...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Both crap. Not worth even considering.

No. Anything that lists power capacity for Hi-Fi is not going to be good. 1400 W Power Capacity

700 Watts Program Each

Piano Lacquer Finish

10" High-Current Low-Mass Sub

2 x 6.5" Diamond Cut (Diamond cut what?)

1" Precision Tech Silk Tweeter

Lynxis Digital Preision Crossover

24K Gold High Temp. Internal Wiring (Why would the speaker be getting hot?)

High-Gloss Piano Lacquer Finish

Solid Oak abinet Design

Compatible W/Any A/V Equipment

Weight: 50.72 Lbs

These remind me of Theatre Research speakers.

Any speaker that is advertised with the first line being "Total System Max Power" or anything to that extent probably sounds pretty bad.

Two tweeters on the front baffle is a HORRIBLE idea. But at least I'm glad they have speakers terminals included. I hated how I had to drill holes to run wires to the other speakers. I heard they invented those along with the cone speaker back in the day.

Are they serious with these specs? 24K gold wiring? Diamond cut platinum woofers? It sure is bling'd out. And 53 lbs sure seems light for solid oak.

This is with out a doubt the most ugly and stupid looking speaker I have ever seen...

And as Brian said, two tweeters... Seriously... What for?

The whole speaker looks like cheap plastic. Check out the port! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Isn't that a parts express port?

I've heard that they were a scam of a company, that sells the speaker systems mainly on EBAY misleading people into thinking they're high end home audio equipment, when in fact they're terrible. I heard alot of bad things about them, so IMO I'd stay away

Thing is these were at a store locally here, a mom and pop electronics store and they were trying to get rid of 2 sets of the.

After researching more I found out what they are.

Thanks for the info.
