General Setup

I've been looking at getting a system for a couple days now...I get my license in 2 weeks, but I probably wont have the money for a good while after that. I figured I'd throw together a quick list and try and get some feedback since this would be my first system and I know just about nothing.

Headunit

Speakers (2 sets)

Speaker Amp

Subwoofer

Sub Amp

you've got some killer equipment for a first setup, except for the amps. Those are absolutely no good. Might want to look into a decent Profile amplifier for your components, and maybe a Viper1200.1 for your sub.

The amps are the only thing I have really been unsure of, so I figured those would be the ones to get picked out. Do you know where I could find a Viper 1200.1? I've looked before, and could barely find 1.

how so? Infinity comps are pretty good imo, but are lacking a bit on midbass. But theyre perfect if you love bright (and sometimes harsh) highs and mids.

PM Untouchable11 about it. he might have one for sale still for pretty cheap. ikesound has them, but I think theyre out of stock. But theres a lot more options out there... dont limit yourself to the viper

It's in the price range I want, and other people have recommended it to me, so I think I'm just going to stick with it. Also, what should I be looking for in speakers?

Err... those infinity's don't ****. They have alot of highs but whatever...

good choices except for the amps.

I'm going with the Viper 1200.1 for one, not really sure where I should go with the speaker amp...any suggestions brand wise?
