gauge speaker and subwofer

14-16 gauge ofc would be good, hell even cca would be fine as long as you aren't running it 50 feet.. I'm running 16awg cca for my int speakers and couldn't be happier. Either will work but I woulnd't recommend anything 18+ esp if they're amped. For subs 14awg is usually good enough, all depending of course.

I run 10ga to my subs, and 14ga to all other speakers.I look for the highest thread count on most of my wiring. For a single vehicle I use/ buy a 1ooft spool for the speakers, and approx 25ft for subs,.Jl wire is pretty good, Stinger.Alot of people swear byKnutz I think it is.Yet, If your not going to compete,Just make sure you get a good thread count,I like to use copper also.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I like Streetwires products.

Note that the tinsel lead wires are a good indication of power handling. The suggested wire sizes are fine. Even good quality 18 awg is fine. It is mostly an issue of power, distance, and the resulting voltage drop.
