Garage floor Coating

Well me and my dad are finally deciding to finish our "shop". Its an extra 2 car garage we built thats not attached to the house. today we started finishing up hanging the drywall. My question for you guys is what is best? i have been lookin at a lot of the epoxy floor coverings, but idk if brand matters or what your experiences are? any inputs awesome. thanks

Is it new concrete? If not nothing will stick really well without alot of cleaning and lots of hard work. I would recomend permatech spray on liners

My dad did it to his garage that was built in the '60s. He just hired a company to do it, it only cost like $800..... which isn't bad when you consider that the nice coatings can cost you almost $500 in materials. (this was a 3-car garage)

hmm didnt know that if it was dirty it messes with it. any secrets to getting it clean enough? would power washing help? thanks.

The company that did my dads floor used some hardcore industrial cleaners and enzyme stuff. Prep is like 90% of a good floor coating.

i had lowes do mine, got a 3 year warranty, and it ran about $450...did a good job, stuff is thick and solid...

what ever u do do not use the shield create coating sold at sherwin williams

thanks guys. i may just do the muriatic acid cause iv heard that worked before and try doin it ourselves.
