Two questions really.

How much harsher is setting your sytem to one ohm than 4 ohm. Right Now i'm running 4 ohms, and its fine, but soon Im upgrading to a 1 ohm amp. is there a big difference on the strain of your electrical system?

and if anyone could point me in the right direction to another thread about setting gains, and all the other parts of setting up an amp beautifully.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

if your power is going to stay about the same and you're going from a class a/b amp to a class D amp (I'm assuming it's class D since you'll be running it at 1 ohm) then the current req'd by the class D should be quite a bit less than the a/b.

This is the reason people use class D's to run powerful subs.

If you're going to be running a lot more power, then the current drawn could be the same or more using the 1 ohm amp.

ooook, well heres to hopin its not a weak electrical system lol.

Ne one know ne thing about a crown vics electrical system or a site that would have specs on it?
