Question.Setting up my gains on my FSD 2600 that powers my HDS315. Now I hear people putting much more than the rated 1200 to these subs with no problems. Whats a safe number? If I go by ohms law setting the output at 34.64 ish volts, that should give the sub 1200 rms. I wont have access to an o-scope for a while. You think I should be good with that?

Yes you can set the gain to whatever watt RMS you want below the amps max output using that formula.
