gains on my amp

when i set the gain on my amp its rated at 200x2 at 4 ohms bridged

are these amp rated at more power i had me sq 6bs recieving 100rms a piece but if i could get the gain and use the formula to get 150rms a piece its bit confusing if the volts go up higher am i getting more power or am i distorting my speakers?

Generally as the volts go up, the amp produces more power. BUT that doesn't mean the power is clean power. If your amp can send 150w rms to each speaker clean, then yes just turn your gain up to the appropriate output voltage.

150w x 4 ohm = 600... now find the sq root of 600= 24.49xxx...so using a multimeter set your gain as close as you can to 24.5v Make sure to connect the multimeter the same way you are going to wire your speaker(s)

will im using 4 single vc 8 ohm speakers so my best option is 4 ohm bridged x 2 i had them recieving 100rms a piece but ill try to crank the gain a bit more using my dmm to 150rms a piece
