Fvck Hyundai!!!!!!

went back to the shop an talked to the guy there. he got on the phone an called whoever made the harness an asked them about it. an he told him that there is 2 red wires on the oem harness an that i need to hook up the the blue/white wire to it to turn the factory amp on.

My wife has an 04 Santa Fe. It was a ***** finding the correct wiring codes. I ran a LOC off the inputs into the amp for the front speakers. The inputs were low level so take that into account.

Currently I'm gutting the entire system, and starting from scratch. The Santa Fe is wonderful to work on once the stock system is removed. The mounting depth available in the doors is INCREDIBLE. You can easily get an 8" midbass driver in there. The sail panels are perfectly sized for your standard car audio tweeter. I've rear mounted an old Polk DX3000 tweeter and a CDT HD tweeter in there perfectly. The stock alternator sports about 120 amps, and the chassis runs noise free.

Overall the car is built like a tank. Panels are screwed, and bolted down. None of that plastic clip shit. Seats all came out very easily, and was able to wire up the vehicle in a snap. The rear storage compartment makes for an excellent amp rack, while not giving up storage space.

I love working on my wife's Santa Fe.

Look how thick that baffle is. There's plent more room as well. No mounting depth issues here.

Plenty of room to work. Don't try this in your Civic.

Hmmmmm, stock amp rack????

Stealth install. "Amps?? I don't see any amps."

All done. No wife needs two 12" Atlas' but she got them. She's getting downgraded for stroller room. She's not happy about that.

I did not read the thread at all, but to integrate monsoon just hook up amp turn on. If that still does not work your screwed and must redo the whole system. Monsoons will either work with the amp turn on or must be completely rewired...ghey huh

might wanna throw some fans down there if u liive in a hot area. id be real worried about over heating.

well i totaled my regal 2 months ago, an my mom decided it would be easier to pay off her car with my insurance money so she could get a new car. this decision came after she had already decided it was ok to get a 01 GMC Sierra with 40k miles. i was extremely p.o'd.
Buy your own car and the problem is solved.

The Eclipse amp ran a bit hot and would shut down in extreme heat. I swapped it out with a Profile, and never had a problem with it. I then upgraded to a Memphis ST200 which is doing just fine as well.

The Hifonics just keeps chugging along. Not a single problem out of that amp, and I've been abusing it for years now.

The subs are Ascendant Audio Atlas 12's.

She's getting upgraded to an active 3-way. Here are some pictures of the current kick build.

New kick panels from the dealer - $40.00. Wife not screaming because I'm destroying her kick panels - priceless. The drivers are Dayton RS52s.

Okay, here's my snide comment now.

Show me a new car dealership that doesn't have a service department and I'll call that car superior to all others. Until then, they all break.

All I know is that, my wife has had her car for almost 4 years now. I also know that if anything breaks in the next 6 years it's still covered under warranty. I think I can live with that. That's standing behind a product and your customers.

Oh, and you want a ***** of a car to install a stereo into, try a BMW, Audi or any other high priced offering. Go ahead and call them crap as well.
