Hi all, Im new here. great site.

Ive just bought a fusion powerplant 15in subwoofer of ebay & want to built a box, I can build one but have no idea as to how to get the right size etc & ports.

I wanna go ported but can you help me with building it by giving me lenght x width x height & slot port size please. I have posted a link here with all the reccommended info on the sub & recommended box size.

I want really low bass from this sub so want to tune it really low as possible, thanks

ok, im not great with mm only centimetres, sorry.

370 mm heigtht

834 mm width

415 mm top depth

this is what fits in my car perfect, this is for 2 12in subs in there original enclosure .

I can get a 15in in there height wise & can use the rest of the measurements above.

hope this helps ?

no, the 370mm is for a 12in. I can get a 15in in there. Those dimensions are for a double 12in box. Basically the I can go higher than 370mm as a 15in will fit. The rest of the dimensions are a perfect fit.

I can go deeper depth wise but not length if you get me now, cheers

basically, I want a sub box design for the dimensions given but can add more height for the 15in & more depth but not length

This will suite your needs, driver up ports to the side.

3 cu/ft @ 30 Hz w/ 2 x 4" ports @ 22"

So, you can point the driver back then (I designed this before I saw your reply.

wow that looks great, cheers. I did prefer to have the port facing the same way as the sub, can you do a design for that please. I dont mind even trying a slot port design. Im capable,.

?

pleaze reply to previous questions ,

also, if I have the ports on the sides, they will be 2 close to the walls in my boot

cheers for that, if the ports are to close to the walls, what are the effects, you really know yur stuff man,

Previous questions?? you mean what did I draw it with? the would be google sketchup...

Yea, you will want to have the port at least the diameter of the port away from a wall, so at least 4 " clearence.

When I get a chance I'll put together a slot port design based on the 2.5 @ 33hz.

also, is it possible to reduce the length & increase the depth to make up for the 4in of port space. Im gonner be the box based on ur dimensions, I really appreciate ur help,
