Fusion 2500 with 4 gauge?

I just purchased a used Fusion NV AM2500 amp because its supposed to be around 1500 rms at 2 ohms but the power and ground wire inputs are for 4 gauge wire. I am going to use 1/0 but im confused why its 4 gauge. Also will buying 2 4gauge to 1/0 power wire reducers work? Like these

it probably saved them a few bux to go with 4 ga inputs vs 1/0. The reducers will work.

You can just trim a few strands off the 1/0 and get the same result, but the reducers are fine too.

Just use the reducers or a distro block if you are running an amp for mids.

Personally, I had a rear battery so I just ran a 4gauge from the battery to the amp. However, I used those exact adapters on my Z1 and they worked just fine.
