I run 4 gauge wire to my amp and have two 30 amp fuses in the amplifier. Should i get a 100 amp fuse instead of my 80 amp i use now in the fuse holder. When I upgraded from 60 to 80 a couple of months ago it made a noticable difference.

I believe that is called the placebo effect.

As long as you're not blowing fuses now, no need to upgrade it.

Yeah it didn't really make a difference. You just 'felt' it made a difference because you upgraded it.

As long as the fuse is not popping, that means it's sending less then whatever it's rated for. So say you had a 60A fuse, it may have only been sending 50A, then you upgraded to the 80A fuse and it still only sends 50A.
