I am in need for a new sub amp that has a fuse rating of 100A or less that does 800 to 1000w rms x 1 @ 4 ohms...anyone know of a good US Amps amp that does that power??....here is where i have problems..I have 4 guage power and ground and I know they are good for about 145A of current...and I have a 4 channel installed that has a fuse rating of 40A and I have 100A to play with...but my fuse block is an AGU fuse type holder...what is the biggest AGU fuse?? is it 80A or 100A??...and lets say i get an amp with a fuse rating of 75A does that mean I put a 70A fuse in the fuse block and keep the 100A fuse under the hood??...do you fuse at or below the ratings??....my setup now is fuse right at the fuse rating...40A + 60A = 100A under hood...40A and 60A fuses in block...tell me what you think might solve the problem?? maybe get a better fuse block??...thanks
