Fuse questions

The car is a 2001 Chevy Blazer (SUV) if it matters... I currently have kciker amp kit rated at 1000watts RMS which comes with 4awg power cable and a kicker mono amp 750.1 (80amps). I will be adding a second amp for my front components. The amp is a older Hifonics Zues series 600(60amps). My amp will be powering 150.2 at 4ohm, that being said the amp will be using half of its power. I purchased a Knuconceptz Konfused distro block, Now for the Q's...

Q1:What amp fuse should i place on the fuse holder which is located under the hood near the battery??

Q2:What amp fuse should i use on the distro blck for each amp??

I was planning to use 120a for the fuse holder and 80a for the kicker amp and 60a for the Hifonics amp but i rather be safer than srry and ask if it is ok... THNX alot

The idea of fusing is to protect the wire. Dont base the fuse size on the actual load of the amps because you may end up with a fuse rating that is higher than your wire can handle. The best you can do is simply match the fuse size to the amount of current that your wire can safely handle.
