fuse question

so i'm running 1/0 from the batt to a fused distro block under my back seat. since the distro block is fused, should i still put a fuse on the wire up closer to my battery? or will the fuse in the distro block do the job

Yes put one up by the battery as well, the fuses from the distro block will only cover from there to the amps. You should have one in the front as well for saftey ever a knick in the wirer and it grounds out etc can start a fire. Just alot of extra safety you have from that for a few dollars very smart to do it.
