Fuse on power bottleneck?

I am STILL awaiting the arrival of my 100a fuses and i am getting impatient. I currently have a 60a fuse and 4ga wire runnin 1050w RMS off of my hifonics 1606d.

The amp has a total of 140w on it and i want to get a 150a anl fuse but i figure the 100a glass ones will work fine.

My question is: Will a smaller amperage fuse on my line bottleneck my amp in any way?

the 60 amp fuse hasn't blown or anything, so i guess its fine right?

You shouldn't have a problem...a fuse is just a Fail Safe.

If the fuse doesn't pop, your good to go. If it does, install the 150A..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Fuses will NEVER regulate the power being passed through them, outside of blowing.

If it IS bottlenecking, it will blow. Stick with it until it blows.

A fuse just breaks/melts if my power is passing through it then its rated amperage so if you haven't blown your 60A then there is no need to change it.
