If you like safety, every termination should be fused on the power side.

It's not necessary to run breakers in a house, but luckily, there are rules that are enforced in doing so. The same thing should be applied to vehicles too, but it's not much of a concern because vehicles run on lower voltage which is less likely to cause harm.. Even though several vehicles have been known to burn to the ground with no fusing.

There are also those who say fuses do not work, they just melt.. That's not true. The installs that melt mean the wrong conducting material, wrong amperage size and poor installation was at fault, not the actual idea.

Fuses exist for a reason. It's not cosmetic like techflex. You have a choice with cosmetics, safety should never be a question. Wear a seat belt? Use a fuse.

It would be cheaper, it might be easier to find a place to mount it, and you would have a ton of options if you just do two, 3 slot fuse holders...

My bad, yes, I read them each as having two 4ohm coils. The JBL diagram left a bit to be desired, IMO. ;) And a double yes, thought U was talking...

I plan on getting the fuse to run as a front sub/midbass in my kick panels...I've heard they sound good but you definitely wont get mirror shaking...

Sounds like a bad ground or wiring problem on the 12v+ side.
