Fuse holder near battery

Guys,

I am looking to put 2 amps (xenon 600.1 & 100.4), which will total 140 amps. What amount (or at least) do I need at the fuse holder near the battery?

Right now I have a 4 gauge running from the battery to the distribution block. In between the block to the amps, I have a fuse holder for each amp (80 amps , 60 amps). I am also using a 4 gauge from the block to the amps.

Note: the xenon amps don't have an onboard fuse.

Would 125 amps be enough at the car battery? Isn't the goal is to be close to the total as possible and not go over it?

Thanks,

Tony

JoseMCeee,

It is a 140 amps total. I am not concern about the price, but of doing it correctly.

Should 125 fuse or 150 fuse be used at the car battery.

Guys,

If I decided to stick with my current setup (xenon 600.1 & Pg 5.0:4) which requires 60 amps and 50 amps, would a fuse of 100 amps at the battery and the main line is at 4 gauge be safe?

I am just a little //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif paranoid.

Thanks,

Tony
