Funny stuff...

Seriously, get all of that "on the way" crap out of your sig. Have you even bought that stuff yet, or is that just the stuff you want? Either way, its gay.

Truth.
Nah, I would rather not. I can put whatever I want on my sig. Some of the stuff I have ordered but waiting for it to come in. Get that pink "my build log" off. It's "gay"

Truth. 1 *****.

But why would I want a ported box sound? I personally think they sound like azz. I just go by what the company suggests. I mean they built them so, the should know what makes them sound the best.

No, I needed your help. Only learn from the best. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Seriously, though. I really think you should build a bigger box for the 15.

1.25 is rediculously small for a sub that large. Somwhere around 2.0 would be better.

Okay. I think you have a point. I just called Diamond Audio and they told me however told me that is a dumbass and needs to be fired. I will build a way bigger box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think it's gay to even list what you already have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

the bigger the sealed box the better capability of the sub to hit the low notes. The larger SEALED box, the lower the F3. which in return gives you your low end output. Most companies that show sealed box rating have the F3 around 50... that is waaay too high personally, the bigger sealed you go, the better overall sound. this is as simple as I can get it.

I get what you are saying. I called Diamond Audio and asked them. It didn't make sense that they would suggest a .65 for a 10, .85 for a 12, and a 2.25 for 15. Remember this is sealed. They said that is a typo or something because that is a insane gap for a sealed box.
I haven't made the boxes yet cause I don't have my 15's yet. But to me that doesn't make sense to have that big of a gap.
It doesnt matter what makes "sense" to you, what do you know about subwoofer engineering? The last time I sppoke with Diamond's "expert" he told me the fs of my tweeter is my xover point. Read The ****in Manual before you call anybody, the guys who wrote the manual/engineered the sub, are NOT the ones answering that phone.
