my dad swore up and down that i could not run a subwoofer in a sealed box.... he kept saying "how will it breath if the box is sealed up!???".. i lol'd

The biggest misconception I hear with people in my area is people being mislead by max wattage ratings..

No retard... your "3000w" amp actually produces probably ~500 watts @ 1 ohm, so after all is said and done you're probably seeing ~175w per sub while listening to music.

Then they get all embarassed and say no that cant be it says 3000 watts man! Then I just walk away...

my friend thinks his 2 10's i dont know what brand.but they look old as fack....but anyways he thinks his 2 10's in his sealed box could beat a loaded fi btl 18...

i was like "haha dude cmon..if you havent seen one how BIG that woofer is or heard it just shut up"...

also last couple of weeks when a got my dc lvl 2 15..he wanted to see it and heard it so bad..and he made a bet of $40 that he shit(2 10's) was louder than my single 15 ported @30hz powered by a 1000 watt..so he came saw it.."hes like WTFF..that ish is huge"..lmao..i was like naw man thats nothing..i seen bigger..(biggest i seen is a 18)..so he heard it.1st i played hypnotize..he covered his ears..lol..2nd song i played rockaway..once the bass hit he just got off the car..and i was like WTFF??..he said "naw man thats too loud"...and to me this ish aint even loud enough for me...it was funny thoug how he reacted..
