he also could use a 18, 8, 21, 13, 6.5, and maybe a spl tweeter!! i do have to say it does look like an interesting sub esp for that 200 plus shipping....but i have no spare cash to even play with it and resell it

The term linear is not used to describe the sub's motion like you think of it. There are a number of ways to measure xmax (linear throw) and watching it move up and down is not one of them. The most common methods are when the BL and/or CMS drops to 80%. You can't see this in a video so don't say, "hey that must sound great look how linear it is; it must have 30mm+ of xmax!!!!!" because you will look like a tool.

The amount that it cost to get this driver built and shipped, in addition to how it is being missed by the masses, I am not sure the other sizes will come.

yea its a pretty sticky situation. he should have started out with 15s, maybe. but upon talking with him he brought up the idea of starting to assemble 15s starting summer time, so who knows.

I have to agree. Unless the 12 shows a severe jump in demand I cant see it happening.

But the price to performance ratio that this driver offers is astonishing.
