here you go this will answer your question to specific states. its a lot of reading but easy to use. you can find out if you can have cannons or other huge weapons to.

you obviously still dont understand the purpose of HOME protection. in a case of a person breaking into your house. even if you had an alarm, who's to say that person isn't a psychotic murder who just doesnt care. at one of my jobs, one of my managers had someone break into their house one night, her husband got it hand gun and pointed it at him and told him to leave or he was going to blow his head off. he in turn probably saved his family that night. what would ADT have been able to do for them at that time?
there are more reasons for guns then what you speak of.

Also think of it this way....Drugs are illegal....They are still easily obtained...and making a law to ban guns would be pointless....A criminal by definition is someone who doesn't obied laws...so the only thing a ban on guns would do is take guns away from the law obieding people.....

If your manager had Brinks, ADT etc then an alarm would have gone off, the perpetrator would have gotten scared and left before even getting in the house! In addition the alarm company would have notified the police within seconds and they would have been on the scene not long after.
You say why should I have to pay for an alarm and the service to go with it? Well you paid for a gun didn't you? You don't even need the service as the alarm going off would probably do the trick but seriously your excuses are a farse.

The way I see it men use guns as a penis extension the same way they use big trucks with lifted bodies and big muddin' tires. My brother unfortunately has this small penis envy syndrome but he was not laughing a few weeks ago when both our families left the same neighborhood to drive to FL for Christmas with our bad and I passed him numerous times in my Prius while he was stuck filling up his 8MPG piece of shit Excursion.

Nothing to do with Obama but he does have the right idea and like I said it has worked for other countries and others are going to follow weather you like it or not.
Maybe you you grew up as some backwoods hick who thinks they have the right to have weapons that can kill others but the fact is when these laws were put into affect people actually needed weapons for something like hunting for dinner and defending themselves.

You no longer need to defend your house with weapons we have things like Brinks and ADT along with other neighbors watching out for each other such as 'Neighborhood Crime Watch' organizations.

We are no longer cavemen my friend and it is time to get with the times and work at having world peace and working on bigger goals such as saving our environment and saving the millions of people in the world suffering from malnutrition and neglect throughout the world.

Neighbors are the most likey suspect for home invasions.

how long is the back-up battery in your alarm?

alarms can be disabled, its really not that difficult, espically since most of them are located in the closet near the front door, or in the master bedroom closet.

unless its wireless (which is more expensive, so most people decline that install) a criminal with decent knowledge can disable the siren in 10 seconds, and prevent the monitoring service from ever calling out.

most people dont test their alarm system often enough, and most of them arent interfaced with windows, just doors.

ask me how i know all of this......I work for the cable company, and interface with those POS devices every day.

I think that the home, is the only good place for a weapon, other than that, unless you hunt, you dont need a weapon. people driving with weapons in the car, that is the worst place to have a gun, but if someone breaks into my home, i will shoot them unannounced, and make sure they die on my carpet. there is no way that i will sit down and do nothing if someone breaks in my house with a gun in my face demanding shit.
