I just replaced my headunit with an hd137bt by alpine. Ordered a new 10" Type R sub, swr1043d, that's going in a custom sealed enclosure I made to fit behind side panel in the cargo area of an explorer. I currently have just some old pioneer 5.25" speakers, driven by a Xplod 600w 4 channel. The sub amp is a mtx 400w rms @2 ohm, mono D.

The question is I'm thinking of upgrading to components, and probably a better 4 channel amp. Is like to go with all alpine. I was wondering if anyone has any advice? Good/bad idea. Money IS kinda tight! I just see people using different brands for ever little part of their system. R alpine components and amps good?

I feel like its a bad set(Low tier set) of RCAs myself. I use Stinger Zero Noise and 4000-8000 series without any issues. Dayton makes a nice set...

Yeah but accubass only restores the bass roll off. It doesn't take an incomplete signal range and make it a full range signal.
