How would these do crossed over at 3kHz?? Are they hard to work with at all? I'm seriously thinking about getting them from you to finish up my new active install.

I hope 9515 doesnt mind me getting involved with his thread but I was the one who sold these to him. I never even used them tho

They are a pretty big driver. Close to 4" deep and 7" round. To really get the full benefit out of them you gonna wanna put them in some type of a kick pod/door pod or well prepped door. When I say well prepped I mean nicely deadened and sealed up as much as possible.

As far as being crossed over at 3kHz. I dont really know. I would ask ngsm

These mids DO NOT extend high very well. The have a slight breakup at ~1.2kHz...

The highest I'd personally take them is 2kHz @24dB/oct, and that's the absolute most.

IDEALLY, I cross mine at 1.2kHz-1.6kHz @24dB/oct
