Yeah.. this sucks, but hey, whatever...

Here is the description I put on the GN forum..

This sub is also known as the ORM, as a few of you would know.One Rekless Monster.

I am selling my very precious, very unique subwoofer. It was bought from the lead designer at TC Sounds, who design and build subs for Eclipse audio, among others. He designed this sub especially for his house and to sound amazing. This sub would be taken to other companies to represent TC Sounds as apart of what they can do. A sort of "flagship" if you will.

Xmax: well over 32mm

Those are just the main specs.

It moves about 4" peak to peak when played hard. It is the loudest and clearest 15 I have ever heard.

I dont know how to post pictures, so email me if you want pictures, and I also have the DUMAX of the sub as well.

The sub has a grey cover, similar to eclipse subs, the Ti Pro cone for example.

The main reason it is so special, is that the power handling(RMS) of this sub is well over 3k watts. I put 1500w to it freeair and it didnt even flinch. 2.5k daily and I had no problems. This sub WILL take anything you can throw at it.

There was only 3 ever made, A,B,and C. I have the A model, and the B is not known where it is,and the C belongs to a personal friend of the person I bought it off.

Price=500$ I am flexible, but this sub WILL desimate all on the market, and I am including w7's.

I have been well into audio for a year now and have even gotten a sponsership from a sound deadening company, as well as won 2nd place in IASCA for their West Coast finals last year. So I know what I am talking about, and I am not just blindly rambling.

The sub only has about 10 hrs play, as my amp had a problem with it's rca input, but is getting fixed, and will be sent to me next week.

The reason I am selling this is because I don't plan on putting a system in my car, and I need money for tires/turbo, so any money helps.

It is a viper 2500d which does 2500x1@2ohms

Price is around 600$ for that amp. Only has about 10 hrs of play.

I also have all my wiring( 1AWT and 300/150 amp ANL fuses) for sale as well.

Ive been on this board for a year now, I have no reason to lie to sell this sub, or to "look cool" my making my sub sound better than others. If I lied about how the sub worked, and he got it, he would then realize I lied and I'd be ****ed, so there nothing in it for me to lie. It ruins my rep, and it will screw me over in the future.

I don't know you, so please stop talking about a sub you don't know anything about.

Its 30mm of throw at 17bl... dumbass.. Meaning when there is 30mm of throw, it still retains a motor strength of 17bl.

How about you ask geolemon how this sub is? Or bigbassloyd? They know this sub.

You know who Steve Ponte is? He designed it. Talk shit to him. You don't believe me? Ask him. I wouldn't lie. Everything I've stated is from my conversations via phone or email with steve. Unless I have been horridly mistaken from something he has said, I don't think I am wrong.

When its an 8 layer flatwound coil, it tends to hold its power..

The 475C on the DUMAX report, is the same driver 475A that you have. There

were a total of 3 woofers, that were made of the 475 specifications.

Iterations A, B, and C. You have 1 of the only three in the world.

The DUMAX report represents exactly what you have.

The coil is of a flatwound variant. This allows for greater BL, and a

tighter gap. Normal coils are roundwound, and this coil, the wire is flat.

Not many woofers use flat wire, as it's quite expensive.

Regarding XMAX if you look on the DUMAX it shows the rating is at 70% of rest, meaning it is still not 100% extended. The DUMAX also shows it still has the capability of reaching(and does) 50mm of excursion, and still retaining motor strength. The DUMAX itself shows it can go 50mm, why are you questioning it?

This sub is amazing, It's indestructable. It moves alot, It suprised me becuase the suspension is so stiff. Very, very good sound quality. And the SPL is pretty amazing. I have a D2 15, and have heard XXX's 18 and 15, but this sub is truly amazing and It looks really nice, w/ huge surround, and yes it handles 2500 watts easily. I've known Tyler for over a year now, I live near him and have listened to it plenty of times. I also recommend the Viper 2500 amp, it's very nice and I think Tyler's selling it for a very good price, the thing is huge. Gotta love the viper lighting on the amp.

Ok i have known marley personally i knew he had this sub for a while. When comparing it to any sub i heard it was no comparison in my opinion it is the best sub for most prices. i heard an RE MT and i believe along with us who were there testing it that the prototype marley is selling is close to that lecel in SPL. In my own words its has the SQL of a D2 15 but the SPL of a XXX 18. And yes it can move as far as he says, even though the suspension is stiff enough for an average human to stand on. Bottom line this sub kicks your subs ***. I have been best friends with marley for over a year now and seen him sell 3 subs and an amp he would'nt lie to make a few bucks extra this sub. this sub owns

I think the driver is worthless in a car and requires EQ to be worth it to anyone who wants a pure SQ setup. So I find several statements here to be inaccurate or misleading, as it has extreme exaggerated sub 30hz information that is by far not accurate reproduction to be dictated as SQ.

Put it in a house though...

Personally, I've never used an EQ, so I wouldn't know the difference, so that is where my statements come from.Never heard a EQ'd setup for more than 10 minutes. I don't have the money for one, so, yea.

As for sub 30hz.. I never hit that on any songs, so I wouldn't know.

Never was into HT, so yea.

Then again.. you compete professionally(from my understanding) in SQ(If I am wrong I apologize) so I think your view of SQ and someone who has never heard a top notch SQ setup is different. I rated it on what I have heard. Thats all I could. As far as anyone who has heard my setup in my area, it was the best sounding sub they have heard. But thats just the local kids and we all have our own systems from D2's to XXX's to PPI's, so we don't really have your(Josh's) expertiece.

I know tyler too, hes legit. I bought my moms RE 8 off him. I would trust him 100 percent, he has advised me many times on car audio.
