Reason I say EA3532 or the XA5000 is that what ever one sells first Ill use the other. I will only sell one of these amps so take your pick. I currently use the XA5000 for daily, but can have it out in a day.

I just bought the EA3532 and have some things I want to finish with my install before winter gets here so its up.

1. Product:

Eclipse XA5000

2. Specs:

Eclipse XA5000

Manual can be downloaded here:

XA5000 Manual

3. Description/Condition:

Has some very light surface rubs that can only be seen in the right light. To the ***** eye is perfect.

Internals have never been repaired as far as I can tell.

A very nice under rated amp. The XA2000 is rated for 300@4 bridged, but benched doing 380@4 with clean power.

Heres a nice little review for a comparison:

XA2000 Review

4. Price:

$240 shipped/OBO.

Im looking for 18sqft of MLV, 18sqft of CCF, and 20' of Extruded Butyl Rope (EBR)

Anything else just offer. I need to move this fast.

5. Pictures:

In the pictures the scuffs look worse than they are. Flash tends to do that.

3. Description/Condition:

I described this as old school not because of age, but because of age in comparison to Eclipse's amp lineup. This was among some of the first Eclipse amps ever made.

A few small knicks here and there and a few surface scratches. This thing is in great condition for its age. Id give it a solid 9/10 physical and 10/10 mechanical.

From what I can tell its never been repaired. The warranty label was still intact when I got the amp. I broke it to make sure the insides were in one piece after I received it from USPS prior to testing.

This amp was made circa 2003 according to the manual print date.

All I can say is that this thing is very very under rated and pure SQ.

4. Price:

$140 shipped/OBO or entertaining trades or trades + cash on your end. I have no cash to add on top.

Anything else just offer. I need to move this fast.

5. Pictures:

I also have amp gut pictures. I also have taken close ups of the minor defects in the heat sink.

I feel guilty for not getting that HU, so I might be interested in one of these amps, I'm just not sure if they're much better for SQ. They don't happen to have one of those uber cool Eclipse features like digital inputs or something?

Nope. Just your standard old fashioned SQ amps.

Is there a measurable spec on the sound quality? THD or something? I like the age, I'm running stuff from the same kinda era. A little confused about the order of the prices, the EA3532 looks like it's way better but it's cheaper?
