Sold Fs: Re Audio HC 15" D2

Just like the title says. Has a new recone done by Re here in Las Vegas and hasn't seen power since. This Sub is a D2 and is in mint condition. I dont have the actual spec's on this monster but im pretty comfortable with 1,200 RMS give or take. this sub weighs close to 50lbs and is built like a tank. Re Hc's are famous for being low end monsters and getting rediculously loud. Not to many of these subs around anymore especially in this condition. $230 shipped.

I have owned both subs in a 15 inch model and my SX was loud....but my HC was brutal....low end monster that got loud as hell. I ran 1500 watts on my HC ported for 3 years and didn't even come close to killing it....matter o fact I may just buy this one. Free bump.

Well I am running two 15" Sx's right now so there is more surface area than when I ran 1 15" Hc. So I would have to say the Sx's sound great. But to me they are quite similar with the exception that the Hc's can handle alittle bit more RMS power and can hit some deep low's. They also can take a serious beating and like it. So on a 1 to 1 comparason I cant really tell you if it is worth switching or not. That would be up to the listener.

i know you said you were looking for another 15" sub but i just wanted to throw it out there that i have a 12" FI BL to trade with all options except cooling. It pounds like hell in a 2.2 cu ft box tuned to 32 hz but i want a 15" sub.

I have a 2005 xxx 15" currently ... Just curious as to how this compares. I have my xxx powered by a hifonics bx1500d. I always wanted to try out an HC.

Thanks for the bump. I never compared the two by ear but i think the XXX would be better. IMO
