I was told this does 1700 rms at 1 ohm. I believe it's 650 at 4 and 1200 at 2, but I only know 1700 at 1 for sure.

Overall the amp is in pretty good condition. The only thing you need is to replace the screws in the power, ground and remote terminals. Good news is, I can give you the info to get them, all you have to do is send a $10 MO to PA, and tell em what you want, and it's yours, brand new screws.

Other than the power (for me), I loved the amp. It's nice, clean looking. A few minor cosmetic blemishes, but nothing major. Solid performer, never overheated. Pushed my XXXs to 141 DB, and that's about enough power for one of them!

I'm selling it because I just paid for an Orion 2500D on here. Currently asking $230 shipped. Pics can be seen on my member page: http://www.sounddomain.com/ride/2303196/3

I have a lot of feeback on SD, two here: djman37 and ryanm923. I also have 100% on ebay, all under the same name.

From what I understand, it does 2250 MAX at 1 ohm. even the PA guy said it was more like 1700 RMS. like jiggy said, if someone can prove it, fine by me...but I'm not gonna try and say it's more than what I know it is.
Trust me, I wouldn't be lying that it's lower than what it really is...I wish I could say it's 2000 rms, but I don't have the resources to prove it.
2k is what mine did and I had the same one. it was pushing a sonic FX. Of course everyone's is different but I doubt it is gonna be a 300w drop within the same model.

interesting. well, there you have it i guess. take it for what it is...i guess just assume you're getting 1700-2000 watts rms at 1 ohm.

btw, now that i think about it, the guy never said if it was 1700 at 12.5 or 14 volts...

Im soo confused:mad: . I want it but I need a good amount of power for my new setup. 1700 would be underpowering while 2500 would be perfect.

honestly, idk what else to say. I wouldn't expect 2500, that's for sure, but possibly 2000 if your electrical is solid.

it also has a **** small footprint, whether it does 2000 or even 1700.

someone told me that PA lists RMS as MAX in the manual.
So that amp should do 2250 @ 1ohm. But i dont want to guarantee it.

I dunno, its a great amp

Its USA built, so its the good Planet Audio.
Correct the 1ohm rating on Planet Audio stuff is actually its RMS rating that they say is Max, I ran mine at .5 ohm with no problems as well.
