This deck is in mint condition. Was in my Blazer for about 3 months and has no problems. No scratches or defaults on the face of the deck, and everything is in mint mechanical and cosmetical condition. Includes the original box, manual, remote control, auto-time alignment speaker, and everything that came with it. This is priced to sell quick at $275 + shipping. Price is firm. 100% ebay feedback. (Username for ebay: MeltDown2k4) Selling because I got a new car.

This is taken from the Pioneer website
Auto EQ

Finding the "sweet spot", or optimal listening position, is complicated by sound's reflection and damping, as well as variable speaker positioning in the irregular shaped confines of a car. Such conditions tend to degrade frequency characteristics. Auto EQ automatically fine-tunes the entire range of the music's frequency bandwidth, using 13-band graphic equalization for front and rear speakers. Simply plug in the included microphone and let the frequency band fine-tuning go to work. It;s like having a sound engineer customize your in-car sound system.

13 band EQ. I still have the Auto-EQ mic and it will come with the deck. Easy as pie, set the mic to where you want the "sweet spot" to be, (your head basically) hit start, and let the deck do all the work. Will play with each speaker until the best sound comes out of your car.
That's pretty cool... how good a job do you think it does?

I am not a fan of automatic anything but car. Does it allow manual eq'ing. I tried to go to the website and DL the manual but no dice. Can you check you manual and see if it allows manual and at what freqs as this is the deciding factor for me as I am gonna get some horns and need to be able to tame the highs. It is between this an Eclipse 8053. Thanks.
