Doesn't matter. Words from people you don't know mean nothing. He has a low post count, and isn't known around here. He expects us to cooperate fully, yet doesn't want to cooperate at all himself? I don't like doing business with people like that, even if they are giving things away for free.
I just don't see how he owns AV store and a Porsche, but not a digital camera and wants to sell something that expensive. I just sold some wire and I showed the guy pics more than once. It makes the buyer feel comfortable. If he scammed somebody out of that much money, it would be a bunch of "I told you so's"

Mr Dave, do you want to buy these, do you have the money? I can post pics next week, what does that prove, does that prove that you will get the item. does it prove that it works when you get it from pics thats i post. I have a few guys that vouch for me that have done deals with me in the past. As far as my spelling, WOW, you got me on that, that makes me unbelievable and a fraud.

Porsche - I don't think these guys had any ill intention towards you and were just trying to help you out. Forum rules state that in order to post items for sale you need to have pics with your username. Those are the rules, regardless if you're trying to sell a $.50 ring terminal or a $4k set of speakers. Folks have been scammed here enough by low lifes to proceed w/an air of caution. No one is questioning your integrity, but to be honest if the situation were reversed would you blindly trust some guy on an internet forum with your money w/o proof that he has what he says he does and w/o seeing the condition of the merchandise? Most people wouldn't.
When you post responses that could be interpreted as stand off-ish such as "do you have the money.." the red flags go up around here. Instead of putting 90% of the burden on the buyer to do their research to validate you're legit, if you followed the rules this would have been a non-issue.
BTW, you might try posting these on the DIYMA forums where higher end gear usually sells better. We all appreciate deals and that you're trying to help out the community. I have no intention of buying these (very nice speakers BTW), but just wanted to give feedback the same as everyone else that has posted here to help you sell them.

Wow, I didn't personally attack you. I just brought up a valid point. When someone wants to come off being professional and spells words incorrectly, it doesn't look good.
It's not our responsiblity to do research to figure out if you are a trustworthy person. That is your responsibility. When you want to sell something, be prepared to show that you are serious. Pictures don't prove that anything works, but it atleast proves that you made an effort. I'm glad that in your mind you know how much of a great guy you are, but WE don't.
Hence, why you need photos, why people are curious about a low post count, why you need to do more than just say, "Yeah, I have a business".
Don't think you are exempt from the same things everyone else faces who sells on here, just because you know yourself. That may be good enough for you, but not anyone else about to cough up $300+.
