Tried to get my brother to buy one, but he thinks his 2.2 liter chevy cavalier with a vinyl flame job is a hot rod and gets mad at the mention of anything that has to do with making a car fun to be in. Including putting foam on the bottom of the dash to stop it from rattling to the point where you want to set it on fire.
Anyway, I think I might go active for at least one pair of speakers. So I might hit you up for a pair of wires, all depends on if I figure out a way to run so many wires. Could replace my 401XLN wires but that'd be a waste. Hmm...

I should lol. It has the black flames on a red body, a huge aftermarket bumper, lowering springs, I think he just doesn't want to do any car audio stuff because when he went to install his sub first he managed to slip screwing it into the box and ram the screwdriver through the surround, then when he wired it he left about an inch of exposed wire out of both the positive and negative terminals, eventually shorted them and blew the amp I borrowed him.
Trying to determine what going active would entail. I have enough power ground and remote wire for another 2-channel amp, which I could get for $115 on ebay for one matching my current front stage 2-channel amp. There might be just enough room under my seat to put them next to each other, in which case then I might have to peel back a tiny bit of insulation in order for the RCAs to reach both amps. Problem though is my front speakers I'm getting would already have 24 dB/octave crossover slopes and I have no idea what would make a good active crossover and the 115 dollar amp, maybe 100 dollar crossover, and 50 dollar wires would be 265 dollars, that's more than the speakers.
