"Ballin' Aint A Problem"
Item(s) for Sale:

5 Sundown Audio SAZ1500D v1 amplifiers.

Item(s) Description/Condition:

All 5 amps were just repaired by DB-R, and it was a simple fix. Each amp had a small transistor, and 1 small resistor bad n the output driver card. They alaso soldered the new mosfets in on top and bottom of the board, takes a whole lot longer to break them from vibration that way. All of those have been replaced and were tested. I tested them again when i got them back and they are working like brand new.

Price:

$325 shipped. Not looking for any trades.

nice amps.

dont mean to thread jack. but if you dont mind answering, how did the SMD distortion detector become a factor in messing up the amps? did it cause you to set your gains too high and blow them?

good luck with sale- bump for you!

yes i think that was the cause. That thing wasn't very accurate at all. DB-R told me that the DD-1 has caused nothing but a hassle for them and a bunch of people that send them amps to be fixed. They said they recommended me not to use it and told me to spread the word not to use them.

wow thats terrible to hear but i guess good to know. i havnt really looked up any reviews, but i saw a review by SM on youtube where supposedly he set up gains with the DD1 and then did the same with an oscope and how supposedly they were exactly the same in accuracy.

in your set up of the gains with the DD1 how high did it make you set up your gain? now that you think about what it told you to set up do you think it did make you set the m up too high- or high enough for the gain to cause to blow something in your amps?

again thanks for the info- really appreciate it!

BUMP for you again
