Sold FS: JBL W15GTi MkII

For sale is a sub that needs no real introduction. JBL W15GTi MkII, dual 6 ohm. The original owner had a pair on a Memphis 4kw ported for a ground pounder. The second owner (who I got it off of) had an MTX 421D on it (which only gave it like 200 watts). I put it in my 2 cube sealed enclosure on my Kicker KX400.1 just to make sure that it worked, and it worked very well. For the limited power on it, the sub was decently loud and sounding amazing.

Only thing I'd knock about is in the pictures, and that is the scuff/residue on the surround. It looks like old silicone, but I'm not sure what it is. What I am sure of is it doesn't affect anything. This sub works, and works well. I'll give it a 9 out of 10 for looks and 10/10 for functionality.

Only reason I'm getting rid of it (and trust me, I don't want to) is because the old lady won't let me keep anything else.

Price is 225 + actual shipping.

Is this in the original carton? also any scuffs or scratches on the sub? As I can get dealer cost on these which is not much higher and wanted to invert them for my new setup. hoping to save even more loot.

It's not in the original carton, as this is a 3rd hand sub. I personally haven't used it beyond the 5 minutes I tested it on my KX400.1. The pics in the first post show the only flaw with this sub, and that's the residue/whatever you want to call it on the surround. That said, if you are inverting it, the basket is pretty much flawless.

If you are interested, send me a PM. If not, thanks for the interest, it's a shame no one else has shown any interest, this sub is amazing, even off my little Kicker it still got down pretty well in my 2 cube sealed enclosure.
