THIS IS A BRAND NEW REFURBISHED UNIT. Just got this item from Harman as a replacement from the one that had broke. The display insert port on the MS8 broke when trying to insert the displays cord. They told me that they considered that physical damage but under a 1 time courtesy they would replace the entire unit. Item will come exactly in same box as I received it from with the same plastic and foam you see in pictures. Reason for selling - bought mosconi 6to8

Why are you selling? Can I get some feedback on it? I'm trying to decide whether to keep my stock deck + this or get a new headunit. Thank you

Why I'm selling is in the reason for selling. The time it took for Harman to finally give me a unit back, I bought a mosconi 6to8 which I'm very pleased with. I personally didn't enjoy the look of the JBL. It's an amp too so it needs to be a little bigger than most but the 6to8 is 1/3 the size.

I actually never got to hear my system with the ms8 in it, it gave my car too many problems. Post amp, pre amp, both the JBL didn't like for some reason. I drive an 08 acura TL and apparently my car is a little picky and doesn't emit much voltage pre-amp, and too much post amp, for the MS8.

The ms8 will have much more processing power than any HU you want to get. It also is an amp so if you want to run every single speaker in your car to it, you can and will sound better than the HU.

I cannot wait til i hear my 6to8 tuned though.
