A lot of people use 2x4's gives good bracing. There are members on here that are competing/going to compete that are using 2x4's for builds.

The box was built by Jeff of sound world in Appleton,Wi. He is a well respected member of USAC and has been around forever. I have to double check the batt names but I believe they are deep cycles made for boats, there some big batts. The box doesnt look nice but I can do hair tricks with country music on lol.

First off that was for 2003 it had the highest db and i think it was the 0-300 class. Im really not sure I dont compete. ANd audioanonymous your not close to the loudest eiather sorry. Matt from Xplosive Audio in appleton, wi has a comp van that hits like 170 on a TL. I dont thin khe competes at dbdrags though so I dont know how he would compare. Last I hear it was like 6 18"s. You should come to dropfest next year and we can all face off on the TL.

Until he can do it at a show he isn't the loudest therefore myself and the Radio Doctors caravan are the two loudest vehicles in Wisconsin. And I HIGHLY doubt he can do a 170 or close to that. I was at Dropfest this year with my van and took highest SPL of the show. Where were these Xplosive Audio guys? Nowhere to be found. Id put money on it to back up your shit talk. 170 on the dash AT a db drag show with JEremy WEber hosting it in Wisconsin for 100 bucks. Take it or make lies all you want.

its a good place for someone to start with as a competition car. And whomever said that 2x4's werent used in wall builds, needs to actually build a wall first.

AudioAnonymous, lets think about it. Who hosts dropfest? Sweet Customs, Xplosive Audio, and Elite Signs and Banners. Note every year how none of those places compete with there cars. Next time I see him I will take pics. Maybe he isnt the loudest but I sure belive that he can do 170 and I think anyone that see and hears that thing will agree. His shop is filled with trophys to the ceiling so its not like its just a dumb kid who thinks his audiobahns are bangin.
