UUUUGGGGHHH!!!! I absolutely HATE to have to do this....
but Im selling my XXX and my KX 2500.
Heres the deal, was finishing up the install and ended loosing the amp to moisture. A little bit of water dripped into the case of the amp and caused it to go straight into protect. I opened it up and noticed the area where water got to, it was just slightly discolored and nothing on the board looked blown. All the fets looked good except for the discoloration across a pair of them that was near the water spot.
I will get pics of the internals of the amp for anyone seriously interested, but until then I dont feel like opening it up again. I would think its a pretty easy fix and Im sure db-r could take care of it for pretty cheap. Im just not in the situation to be able to ship it out, get it repaired and have it shipped back. I would also like to note that the amp has a small scratch near the top of it, which I can touch up for free if anyone is serious.
I would rate the looks of the amp as 9/10 due to the scratch. Other than that it looks absolutely astonishing in person, the paint is very nice and you can easily see your reflection in it when its all cleaned up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Asking price for the KX 2500 is $300+ship OBO
Next is the XXX. Its an 05 model motor which I purchased through a member of the boards. It has a fresh Dual 1 ohm recone in it from Fi and a jet black basket. The sub has very low play time on it and is still fresh. Works perfectly. The only thing that I would like to note is that it doesnt have a matching pair of terminals. One side is the original screw terminal and the other side is a push terminal. Not a big deal but figured I would point it out. If someone has an original screw terminal and wants them to match Ill put it on for free.
Sub works great though and I havent had a single issue with it since hooking it up. 10/10 for looks and function.
Asking price is $350+shipping FIRM
