Now, no matter if it was you, or your manager (which I can get that info as well) should know the rules and guidelines. While we appreciate the support CC employees do for us, it's a two way street. We have seen many of these 'program' woofers and amps on
Ebay, for re-sale. We have traced the serial numbers back, which I can do in about 10 seconds. And our internal Rep that talks to CC HQ notifies them of the abuser. Then CC, internally can do what they want with such employee.
What's the problem with employees doing this some may ask? It can hamper any new deals and working employee, competitor, etc from now on from any time of these 'deals'. The deal is not for an employee, or manager to make extra money or profit from. If an employee decides not to use such item he/she purchased, can probably be sent back for a full refund. But one year, the item needs to be in your car, for personal use.
Please don't take this as any personal attack on you, just I have traced this type of incidents many times this year, and if people abuse it, you loose it. And what would happen in CC decided to do that for ALL lines to ALL employees because of a few that didn't follow guidelines? Not fun if you ask me.
If, if you manager did let you buy it for resale, he should be aware of this, so please feel free to explain this to him, or either of you can contact me.
Since you have recalled this now not for sale, a good deal IMHO, but any CC employee that reads this, hope can see what the ramifications of what
not to do.
But if you did indeed pull it off for sale, I won't proceed this investigation. But if the serial number pops up, expect us to proceed.
have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

PS and just an FYI, BumpinYoda is a competitor, so how does this effect him? As a manufacture, if we see people taking advantage of any help we ( or anyone) provide, whether be CC or a competitor, it hurts them as a loyal brand user, as they no longer get any help. And another FYI, I don't even thing Bumpin even uses Kicker, but he knows the drill all manufactures stand on this type of deal.
