what do these actually put out? iv seen 3000 at 1, 4000 at 1, and even 5000 at 1.

All depends on voltage. Give them 15v and you'll see high 4s. I gave them 14 and saw every bit of mid 4k out of each. Expect 3k real power at 12v. Try and find that out of any other amp in its class!
