I have 12" Macdaddy. SVC 4ohm.

Those who know car audio will know how amazing this subwoofer is. It is loud, but it sounds incredible. The looks are also unreal.

It works perfectly. It was originally DVC, but one of the terminals broke.

As quoted from the Dealer:

"Don't worry about this, as it makes NO sonical difference. The sound quality remains the same, and it gets just as loud.

In fact the second coil will now act as a mass to allow the sub to play lower and as a heatsink to allow it to reach full potential."

I would like to see $150, but am open to offers.

The RMS is 600w.

I am not sure about the terminal. It was just removed thats all... I was guarenteed that it would be perfect and that the sound is just as good. u sure that dealer knows what he/shes talkin about?

sonical aint even a word, and that second thing he stated about the 2nd coil to act as a mass sounds really fishy

it should still work but the power handling is going to be cut in half and Im not sure what effect its going to have on the overall sound. I dont think dealer knew what he was talking about.

My friend who works at DA runs 4 in his car

I had never heard them but figuring he works for DA and pretty much had his choice of any sub they MFG and chose MDs tells me they kick azz

and if I am not mistaken they are made in usa.......
