Item(s) for Sale:

I have a Kicker SX 650.1 for sale, which is having some issues. It worked fine up until a month ago, and then shut off on low volume one night. I checked out the SICKBay on it, and it said it was fine. Tried going through all the menus, and nothing stood out as being wrong. Amp wasn't in protect when taken out of the vehicle I had it in.

I took it apart for pictures, and in doing so, lost one of the screws for the preamp :\ They are those little tiny screws, I just can't find the damned thing.

Item(s) Description/Condition:

Cosmetically : 8/10 (It has a few scratches and such from being installed in the trunk)

Mechanically : 5/10? (It worked perfect up until it quit having output from the RCA's, so I don't know how to rate this one lol).

Price:

$100 + shipping, but open to any reasonable offers.

Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

Buyer pays shipping. I will ship Priority mail, and with the weight or whatever it comes out to right around $15 shipping to anywhere in the US.

Also, I contacted a few people to see how much to get this amp repaired. DB-R said they don't service the SX models, and sent me to Amp Medics in FL. I also contacted Kicker, who said typical repairs for these range from $25-$150. I know NOTHING about messing with electronic internals, so if someone else knows how to repair and diagnose amps by themself, they can save some cash and get a ****** amp for a fraction of what I paid for it.

Normally I wouldn't mind, but I have to pay to get some stuff out of pawn right now, and it comes out to $85. That's pretty much the lowest I could go unfortunately.

Open to trades as well, just for a working amp. Mainly just want something to run my two IDQ's for now until tax time, then I'm going up to 1500w RMS and redoing the whole system probably from SQ to SPL. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

So the car audio shop I took it to just claimed "bad wiring" and now it all works. Not really sure what that means but case closed! thanks...

Sounds like it's the digitizer in front of the LCD panel (a separate clear thin glass panel that responds to touch) is what broke. Technically it...

OK, so turn your music on at moderate listening level and unplug the battery/alternator and see how long that capacitor keeps things playing...
