Both pairs have seen less then a couple hours of power. The Audax I bought from a member on the DIYAudio forum. He lined the drivers with dynamat for dampening purposes, which he said helped a great deal.

Which pair sounds better, esp. midrange wise? Also, whats the mounting depth on the Audax, and can they go IB in the doors? Pm me and LMK.

Midrange wise the Audax sounded better. The mounting depth on the Audax is 79.5mm ~ 3.13 in and yes they can be installed IB but I have never heard it installed that way.
