PRICE DROP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't really want to ever sell this box, but unfortunately the weight of this whole setup is still just a tad too heavy for my lowered suspension. Also, I just want to run two nice 12s" that will take 1500 watts each and call it a day...or so I say that.

First off...the box. As you can see, it's absolutely perfect! There's a few black spots on it from shipping and moving it around, but I'm going to sand it clean before I ship it. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it really sounds amazing. Hits deep and low, but since it is slightly smaller for 3 12s" than it should be, it will punch like a sealed box. Box is 5.4ft^3 tuned to 30hz using (2) 4" aeros. The dimensions are: 14.5 H x 30 W x 32 L. It was built by SPY himself and here is the build log:

How did that sound with such little port area? I would've expected at least 2 6" ports for 3 12's. I do like the box however.

It sounds amazing! Exactly what I had intended it to do. I had posted in the orginal build thread SPY put up, that it acts like a hybrid ported box. It will get low and boomy, but punch like a sealed box when listening to rock-type music.

This has been my philosophy for a while with ported boxes to build them slightly smaller than recommended and tune to 30 hz with a minimal amount (sufficient of course) of port area to give it that "control" factor. It's worked great for 3 boxes I've done along these lines.

This, all day.

Kudos to you for helping to dispel the myth that you need enough vent area to fit another passenger in.

GLWS.
