I've finally decided to try and get rid of these so I can try some of ssackett's subs.

These subs really do sound very good and will get very loud. I've metered a 146 legal and 150 outlaw in a trunk car, subs firing backwards with these. They will take 1000 RMS each EASY. It's sort of hard to get rid of them for I though I would keep them forever and be done with changing setups but...

They're in just about new condition and have been run off my Stetsom 4k2d for the last couple of months or so. One of them does have a small hole in the surround from when I was installing it and accidentally punctured it. It's very small and I put some silicone on the backside of it and works perfectly. You really can't even tell it's there.

All coils read between 3.8-4.0 so they're all good. I'll try to get coil shots at some point, but I GURRANTEE that they look brand new still. Two of them have the "REVOLUTION" dust caps and one of them has the "RD" dust cap. All are the exact same subs in every other aspect. DVC 4 ohm each.

1000 no problem at all. 1500 I think would be a bit much. "I" wouldn't try to put anymore than 1200 if I really wanted to push 'em. Steve said he's seen guys put 1200 and they were fine. Especially if your box is a bit smaller than recommended if you're ported.

I'm not kidding, I've run my 4k2d at 2.67 ohms on these for a while and I've hit 'em hard. Suspension is still great and coils still look new, no bullshit.

best thing is these like tiny boxes iirc .9 to 1.1 ported for a spl use and like 1.5 for daily and like 25 sq in of port per sub

You're right, man. They do like small boxes and small port areas too.

My box is 5.04 cubs after displacement and I'm only using 2 4" aeroports tuned to 30 hz . I get a VERY flat response from about 27-28 hz to mid to high 60s I would say. I haven't RTA'd my sub stage just yet so it's only an ear guess.
