I am listing this item for my friend. This amplifier is in excellent condition, we have done searching throughout the internet to find out this Legacy's true numbers, and it turns out that the claimed RMS value is incorrect according to several websites.

The amplifier is 2 channel and the Bridged RMS is 600w @ 2 ohm and 400w @ 4 ohm. Some people will tell you that Legacy is a bad company when it comes to car audio, because of their overrating and 'cheap' line of subwoofers, etc. This amplifier is overrated, we will admit that, but if you ignore the claimed ratings, it really does actually put out a good amount of power, and our asking price is very reasonable for the amount of power you are getting out of this amplifier.

He wants to sell this amplifier (with the remote bass boost controller inc.) for $120 shipped to anywhere in the continental US. He is parting out his system before he sells the Jeep that it currently occupies, to buy a newer vehicle. The amplifier is 6 months old and it was used on a daily basis with no problems. There are no visual surface scratches as you will see in the pictures I attach.

The remote bass control knob works great, it has a few scratches from the overall use, but it does its job well. If you turn the boost down to 0db the bass gets brought to a minimum.

He will accept payment through PayPal, and the item will be shipped via Fedex ground. If you are interested, please contact me via PM, or on AIM @ UNCTarHeelz2001.

Price lowered to 120 shipped.
Not trying to be funny or anything but the truth of the matter is this, you won't get $120 for anything with the name Legacy on it, not on this forum or really any other forum that has to do with car audio. Hell, I doubt that you'd even be able to give it away on these forums unless you were paying for shipping //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Your buddies best bet would be to try and sale it locally to a friend that's not that experienced with caraudio or sale it to a pawn shop.

I may be wrong but I think that pretty much sums up how most feel about Legacy and it's like.......... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I agree totally with you, but I wanted to give it a shot. He wanted to give a shot at selling it online, and we were about to list it on Ebay until it said enter your checking account and I was like.. lets take it to my forums I guess.

Legacy doesn't make a bad amp though. They are built pretty well, and it really pushed his 15" Memphis good, I know it was putting out the 400 that I estimated. I'd like to get it metered to see how much wattage it really is putting out. Anyways, if it can really put out 400 @ 4 ohm, I assumed the 600 could be right, and therefore, 120$ shipped for a 600 watt RMS amp sounded good to me even if that amp happened to be a Legacy.

Well, it didn't hurt to try.

By the way, thanks for a mature responce.. lot better than what I've heard from some other individual whose name I wont mention.

No problem, just trying to be helpful, and I really hate how bad this forum has gone to sh*t. The maturity level that seems to be prevalent here now really makes me question everyday why I even stay...... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
