Front Stage hELP!

I have a 2006 mustang that I would like to change my front stage in. Im only doing front speakers and wont be running rears because of the subs i'll be putting in.

It has a spot where 8" subs are in each door, then i think a 5x7. But i would like to do is find some 4" with a 1" tweet to put where the 5x7's are. I'd be running a 4 channel amp to these and my budget is 600$ for all the front stage. Please help me out with some advice.

Maybe this:

and this:

I'd use a 4-channel amp to run the front stage, with 2 channels to the 8" woofers, and the other 2 to the 4" mid and tweeter. You'd want to crossover (active, before the amp) from the woofer to the mid at about 400 Hz or so.

For a crossover between the mid and tweeter, maybe this:

... with one of these on the tweeter, to adjust level:

I can vouch for the components here... I've used most of them (haven't used that exact model TB mid, but have used close relatives)... and currently use the Morel tweeter in my own car...

Regards,

Gordon.

is there any setups that already include the crossovers with them. Like some mb quart, kicker, focal, or something else.

I understand using the 4 channel amp with 2 channels to the 8's. I was thinking of using re 8's. and then maybe 6.5" components, with 4" and 1".

im open to everythign almost though

I know Phoenix Gold is kind of old school.. but I am running a pair of these in the front and am very happy with their performance....

they have, and continue to, put up with all my abuse... that and I like a lighted/concealed system design so in the doors where I have these recess mounted at the front of the map pocket, I put a directional LED pointing at the aluminum cone... ya cant see anything but what looks like a factory speaker grill until I turn the led's on then they shine away. Just an idea... it's what I am using.

Does your $600 budget include an amp, or is it just for speakers?
no does not include the amp. just for speakers and I looked. All i have room for is the 8" sub in the door. 4" with 1 " tweet. i can move the 8" down to a 6.5" which ever would be better when running the 2 12's'.
