Front speakers, subwoofer, and amplifier install for 1996 Chevy Blazer

I'm looking to install a subwoofer/amplifier/maybe front door speakers in my 1996 Chevy blazer. Currently the only upgrade I have made to it over the stock radio is a pioneer mvh-x560bt head unit. I mainly listen to rap music so i am set on a ported subwoofer box. I was reading on ported boxes and I read about subsonic filters. That amplifier does not have one. Is that something that is necessary? My budget is maximum $500 for everything. Here is what I am thinking for the components:

Amp: Kenwood Excelon X700-5

Sub: Rockford Fosgate Punch P1S2-12 Punch P1

Box: Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker Ported single 12"

Front door speakers: Infinity Primus PR6500cs 6-1/2" component speaker system

Thanks for the help.

What is your goal?

I think we can get you more bang for your buck and better sound if you want some suggestions.

Budget include the wiring and everything?

Budget includes the wiring yes. I will be doing the install myself so no cost for labor. Right now I do not even have a sub in my car and am using stock speakers. My goal is to be able to rap/hip-hop without it sounding like ****. If you have any suggestions on price for the money that is exactly what I am looking for.

Well, if I were doing a system on a $500 this is what I'd do... others will come along with recommendations as well.

Sub Amp: FSD Audio FZ700D $140

Sub: Soundqubed HDS2 15 $115

Door Speakers: JBL GTO608C $71

Amp: Pioneer GMA3602 $65

Wiring: KnuKonceptz KCA 4gauge kit $33

Box: Build it yourself. I've left you with $76 which should cover the cost of materials.

I could come up with options all day but that's a very solid choice for the money imo

These prices are from Amazon.

Ok that looks really good. I've never done much with wood. I have most of the tools I would need but am not sure if I have the skills to build a box. Are there any guides that show the process?

Well, I can design a box for you if you'd like. The actual putting together process is fairly straight forward. Just need wood (3/4" MDF or Birch would be great) glue, caulking (I like to use it on the corners in the box) screws, cutting tools, and patience.

That does not sound too hard. If you could design a box for that sub that would be awesome. I could not find any reviews or anything on the fsd audio amplifier. It seems really cheap for the power it puts out.

They are newer. It's a korean board amplifier, similar to Ampere, Sundown, etc.

If you talk to SounDrive on here he can hook you up and explain a bit more about them.

I'd be happy to help you out with a box design. PM and we can discuss some ideas.

measure, re-measure and measure again and confirm your measurements. Then cut the wood. Do that for all pieces and then titebond 2 or 3 wood glue and screw. If you use mdf then you'll want to pre drill holes. If you want to save weight, use birch ply.

There's a port opening, you'd want to sand down any sharp edges you see on the port so its a smooth round shape.
