Hi, i removed my front speakers in order to replace them, and there was a factory made plastic box in which i can only fit a specified speaker dimension, but once i put a speaker and tie the 4 screws, there isnt any whole in the box for the air to escape, how is that?? its like installing a woofer in a box that is fully closed:S, should i drill the plastic box from the other side or what?? thx guys

My guess is a 3 series and that you are referring to the cavity in the kick panels. They are uneven sizes between right and left and have a lot of car body panel noise--tons of vibration. In my old one I put a ton of deadening material in there and it helped a ton. Seemed to tighten up the 5.25 's that I put in there as well. Good luck. Is it a 3?

Mine is a 3 series but I have custom fiberglass speakers in the door, PLUS the kick panels. I guess it pays to buy your car off of a manager of an audio shop. lol I am going to take pics of EVERYTHING (current ones are outdated) on Sunday to show off my system. I LOVE IT

yes its a 3 series 1995 model, i want to add some speakers in the doors but there is no factory place for them, so what i am going to do is add an amplifier just to power the two tweeters and the 2 small speakers in the front with high frequencies to at least, have a surround. What can i do to add speakers in the door ( change the panels??/) and should they be 2 ways speakers? thx
