Hi, I'm in the process of buying a new audio equipment for my Jeep Patriot.
I,m just an enthusiastic aficionado for real sound, this is just my second car audio equipped.
What I have in mind so far (either by personal experience or by research) :
HeadUnit: Nakamichi CD500
Main Amp: ARC Audio 300.4 (4 ch)
Fronts: Boston SR60 (component)
Rears: Boston SR95 (coaxial)
SubW: Memphis double coil 10"
Sub amp: Not figured it out yet.
I was talking to an audio installer (regarding the speakers, in general), and he told me to never change brands or even speakers series between front and rears, because he says that once the fronts are kicking the rears are just about to. In your experience, is this true?
Any thoughts or suggestions on the brands or models I've choose? They are welcome.
