When a friend tells me that they have 2 audiobahns that does 450watt rms with a 1000+ watt amp, how can i explain to them that all that shi* is bullshi* and it will start smoking eventually in a nice way?
Like these guys really think audiobahns fell from heaven. What should i say to them in a nicely manner?

well i wasnt aiming for HIGH QUALITY. High in quality to me is spending expensive equipment. i was looking for something decent. With a great air space in my nissan pathfinder you can feel how decent it is. If you know how my car sound by just reading my sig, then hey, much respect to you.

Lol my homie just stopped by few minutes ago and told me about how he hooked up 1 12 and then a 1 10in in a dual enclosure. I told him to play the famous 3 6 mafia bass track and found that all his lights were dimming. I didnt say anything to criticize, so i just complimented on what he thought sounded good.

I think that yes audiobahn is not the greatest but also would say there are alot worse out there. I had to the 1000watt subs on a mmats class d amp and sounded pretty good. Also had audiopipe and wasnt bad either. Just install dependent and how good your box is.

Lol, i know i told him exactly about changing his wiring from 10 gauge to something bigger. and he asks for a price and when i offered it, he just looked at me like i was joking. I really suggested him to change from 10 to something bigger but hey, all i got was a laugh from him. Like i said i did not criticize him at all.

I should have said your equipment sounds lower quality. Never said anything about the install. Just saying that I dont see how a guy with a kenwood amp can be dissing on someone running an audiobahn.

I didnt know having a stable kenwood amp is called to be lower quality these days. Very interesting.

I must say I do agree with bimma to a certain extent... and if your friends like audiobahn then let them enjoy it. If all they want is bass then it should be decent.

Also, if they are not into it enough to notice the sound quality between an audiobahn product compared to something else, then they do not need to spend the money on better product. In my opinion, friends don't let friends buy pioneer 3-way coax speakers, and friends don't let friends purchase Dual cd players. But hey, to each his own.

See for those reasons, you assumed that i wanted and liked to buy them. It was already in the car when it got passed down from my parents. The ones that i have bought was the 4 channel, mono, the 15 and made the ported enclosure myself. I'm sorry but i do not have the money to buy a head unit right now. Maybe if i can raise enough on christmas

Hey man its cool if you cant afford good stuff. I think we have all been there one time or another or at least I know I have. Hell I right now I cant afford good shit. But what I think alot of peeps are trying to tell you is dont diss on audiobahn or for that fact anything else considering you are kinda in the same boat. Not trying to be a dick, just trying to help.
