Friends budget setup...

My friend wants to do something simple in his 94 buick century...he has a sony x-plod, 1200 watt, two channel amp and he wants to hook up two twelves to it. I was thinking he should run mb qaurt fwa 304's...whatchu thinkkkkkk?

and other ideas for subs, he wants to spend around $100 bucks for a pair.

Well what I think is that 100$ for two 12's and your better off not doing it. take that 100 bucks and put it into one sub maybe a decent 10'' sub or even 12'' if he wants 12''. it doesnt sound like he wants hard hitting bass when he wants to spend 100 bucks on 2 12's so I would go with a decent 10'', which you can find for around 100 bucks, rather then going with 2 pos 12's at low watts
